Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) will receive €191,772.30 for a project called "Brew Your Future: Women in Hospitality & Sustainable Local Enterprise", Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley announced on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. CMETB is one of 13 organisations sharing €2 million to promote equal job opportunities for women.
What the money is for
According to the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, the grants come under the Equality, Inclusion and Social Transformation (EIST) Programme 2021-2027. The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) co-funds them. The aim is to remove barriers that keep women out of work and to improve their access to jobs.
